RULES AND FEATURES

Four = quartet, often different versions of this game are called Card Quartet. By the way, the native, original name of the game: Medieval Quartet or MedievalQuarts. Let's see what is meant. An ordinary pack (deck, or even more than one) contains cards of 4 suits. It is this quartet that is called a quartet.

Games of this type usually use specially created maps rather than ordinary ones. But this is not essential. The point of the game is that the player collects the maximum possible number of sets per round. A set is defined as 4 cards of the same suit. For example, this game uses medieval military paraphernalia as suits: swords, shields, bows, and so on. They are designated by their own codes: A1, A2, A3, A4-these are cards of the same suit. There are 8 suits in total in the deck.

There are four players. Each player initially receives 8 cards per hand. During their turn, the player can request any card they need from any opponent. By the way, here your opponents will be: Marie, Tom and Sam.

So, on your turn, you can claim from any of them the card that you need to create a quartet. For example, you requested B3 from a Volume. If he has this card, he immediately gives it to you. After that, you continue your turn, demanding other cards from the same or other opponents. If the respondent does not have the requested card, the move is passed to the other player in a clockwise direction. If after receiving the card, the player has formed a ready-made four (quartet), then it is laid out on the table next to it and recorded in the player's score. Thus, if you had B1, B2 and B4, and Tom had B3, then having received it, you are credited with the collected four.

The round ends when one of the players runs out of cards in his hand. By the way, no new ones are issued during the round.

As you can see, everything is simple. How to win? Let's just give you one piece of advice. Be careful and carefully remember all the cards requested by players from each other. This will help you figure out who might have the information you need. Good luck!
