CRESCENT MOON

In the old days, Crescent Solitaire almost overtook the popularity of masters of the solitaire genre Klondike Solitaire andSpider. And, in our opinion, it is well deserved. Crescent Moon is an interesting solitaire game that consists of two standard decks, i.e. 104 cards. Most of them are laid out in 16 packs with an inverted crescent (arc) on the horns, hence the name of this card game. Only 8 cards (bases) are placed in the center of the game table, inside the crescent, these are: 4 mismatched kings and 4 aces.

The player is offered for 20 minutes (Yes, friends, you need to think faster - why sit in vain!) collect 4 piles arranged by rank and suit. On four kings, the sequence of ranks should be descending: queen, jack, 10, etc. On aces — increasing ones: twos, threes, fours, etc. Of course, the suit is placed on the suit. The latter rule also applies to placing cards between 16 crescent packs. However, on databases, maps must be placed in strict order, and in crescent packs, you can sort them both in ascending and descending order.

The logic is complex, but when disassembling it, you should use additional hints that are not obvious at first glance. When you take a card from any pack of the crescent moon and hold it with the pointer until you put it anywhere, the card that was in the pack under the taken one opens. At this point, you can evaluate its value for this stage of the solitaire disassembly and make a final decision whether to shift the drawn card or not.

So, with a successful scenario and a successful disassembly, you should have only eight packs left on the game table: the top four with aces at the top, the bottom ones with kings.
