RULES AND FEATURES

The delicate name of solitaire really reflects the task very accurately for the player. Yes, friends, the winning end of the showdown will be the ladies lying on top. Of course, we are talking about maps. There are a lot of ambiguities in the rules of the game, most of which are waiting for the clamshell closer to the end. There are also a number of questions that are not explicitly answered at the beginning of the discussion.

Since the developers didn't provide any rules and instructions, let's try to figure out the nuances ourselves. So, from the clear:

  • There are 104 cards in the deck that need to be stacked in 8 piles by suit, sorted by suit and rank so that the piles start with kings and end with queens (King-ace-deuce-three-...-lady).
  • The arrangement of cards in eight columns for sorting is strict-only suit to suit and only junior to senior (the eight of diamonds to the nine of diamonds).
  • The collected full column is automatically moved up and stacked with the king at the top. This final map transfer opens the only base map in the empty corresponding pre-build column (one of the seven, by the way).

As you can see, the rules that are simple and understandable for any solitaire lover have a number of nuances that raise questions. For example. Why are there 7 columns for pre-assembly, and not 8? Why does the seemingly endless process of flipping through the rest of the deck suddenly stop at the end of disassembly? Can you only scroll through the deck three times? And believe me, this is not all that can interest you in the final, when the finishing ribbon is already flashing ahead.

We have covered only some aspects of the disassembly of this extraordinary solitaire, so to speak, opened the curtain, but we decided to leave the search for a solution to you. We assure you that in the end you will find a real card quest. Fortunately, its solution allows you to rewind as many moves as you want.

And finally, a little bit about statistics and management. Technically, the game is beautiful: it is simple and easy-it loads instantly. You can play Ladies on Top solitaire on almost any device, from the tested ones, it worked on: PC (Chrome, Opera), tablet (android and iOS-iPad), as well as on iPhone and android phone.

The standard shift is done with the mouse. In the block at the top, you can find data about the game time and the number of moves made. There are also buttons: start a new layout, retake the current layout, cancel the move, and a button with a hint.

Resume. Solitaire is wonderful, wise. Many thanks to the authors and implementers!
