RULES AND FEATURES

The card game Hearts (Hearts or Hearts in English), once very popular, still has a lot of fans. The game is designed for four people. However, the rules of the game, tasks and system allow you to replace three players with a computer mind-a program that is quite capable of maintaining intrigue and interest in the remaining main player-you. So, these Hearts are played by you and three computer players.

This card game uses a standard 52-card deck without jokers. Cards are dealt equally to all participants. This is followed by the mandatory step of passing three cards to the neighbor. You simply select any three cards that you think you can give away without regret and click the big yellow arrow to pass them to your neighbor on the right or left. At the same time, one of your neighbors passes you their unwanted three cards in the same way. After this stage of the game, everyone still has 13 cards, and the game starts.

The first move is made by the one with two crosses. From it and go. Further, the order of the move is determined by the bribe. Who took the last one, he goes. A bribe is traditionally taken by the highest card in it, as in many other card games. Follow the suit is mandatory! The game goes on until all the tricks are taken, and the players do not have a single card left in their hands.

Special attention should be paid to the content of these bribes. In the game of Hearts, only cards of the red suit (hence the name of the game) and the Queen of Spades are used for scoring points. Each card of hearts, regardless of rank, is worth 1 point, and the queen of spades — 13. Thus, in just one round, a player can score 26 points.

Note that a lot of points is bad! Yes, friends, the points are free! The game is won by the one who gets the minimum number of points. Thus, you should try NOT to take bribes with hearts and the queen of spades. How? Well, a lot depends on tactics and luck. The game, however, has one caveat. If you manage to take all 26 points in a round, then each of your opponents gets 26 points, and you get 0. This wonderful exception is called shoot the Moon, so in this case you are lucky!

It seems that we have told you all about the rules, but if you missed something, you can find it in the built-in ones (Rules). In this version of the game, after a round, a window pops up with the result, so there are two buttons on it that are extremely unfortunate to be adjacent. Be careful, to continue the game with saving points, click the Next Round button. If you click New Game, all previous results will be reset to zero. Good luck!
