PET THE CAT

A passerby was walking down the street, and suddenly he sees a cat standing there, and a sign next to it: Pet a cat for 25 cents. He passed by, and then thought it wasn't that expensive... just 25 cents. He returned, put a quarter of a dollar in a coin jar, and began petting the cat. The time for the session quickly expired, and the cat demanded another quarter. A passerby rummaged in his pockets, found a coin, and began to iron it again. He only had 50 cents, but when he got a taste for it, he wanted to stroke the cat again and again!..
