These two characters are just like Fire and Water from the game series of the same name. The guy here is also red and looks like a little devil, but the girl is blue and looks like herself. The mazes are the same, in the sense that their organization is similar to the aforementioned game. The tasks are also similar. You need to go ahead, collecting red and blue crystals, trying not to fall into traps, and apply the magic of mutual assistance everywhere.
But the control in the game is implemented somewhat differently. You can play as two or as one player. Arrow keys are responsible for moving the character, spacebar-switches control between characters, E-clicks switches levers and performs any other required activity. It's a little stressful at first, because you forget who you're managing right now, but then you get used to it. You just need to keep your free finger on the space bar at all times.
