2048 ON THE MOVE

Good old games often get a rebirth due to the introduction of new elements in them or due to changes in the interaction of the user and game elements. In this updated version of the once popular game 2048 added movement. In its basic version, 2048 is a static game, but, as it turned out, it is possible to increase interest in it by offering the player a different way to display chips on the playing field.

Recall that initially the playing field was a square, chips with numbers in which appeared automatically after each player's turn. Their mass had to be shifted so that the same ones were connected and formed new chips with larger denominations. Well, for example, two twos, combined, formed one four, and two fours, merging together, left one eighton the field. The goal of the game was to create a chip with the number 2048 on the board.

The modern version of the game contains the following changes. First, the field is no longer square, but rectangular, divided into 5 columns. Each of them is mobile. It is as if an invisible pressure pushes the chips placed in the columns down to the stop line. If at least one of them touches this line, the game ends. The player now exposes the chips themselves using the shooting method. To create a new one, just click on the column where you want to place it.

Everything else: the goal, the combination of identical chips into one of a larger denomination, etc. remained the same. True, the game is no longer limited to the 2048build. You can play further and collect larger denominations: 4096, 8192, etc. There is another innovation. Now not only a pair of identical chips can merge together. If more than two identical coins are connected, then the resulting nominal value will be higher. For example, three fours will leave behind one chip with the number 16, and four 16s will be reborn into one 128-ku.

Everything here is in constant motion, so, you can say, a game for time. You can not stop for a second — it will fill up with chips. Try to fill in the columns quickly, following the basic strategy. It is advisable not to cover a small chip with a larger one, so, for example, putting the 64 block on 16, you will significantly reduce your ability to maneuver. It is always better to put the lowest denomination on the highest one.
